Tamanio adult ref

I've had this done for a while now but wanted to try it shaded/highlighted. In the end I decided for reference purposes it was best left as it was.

So, this is my Cheetah, Tamanio I luff him so much, and now he's just about grown up! Also, his markings aren't just random blobs. It took a while to figure out the black markings. His is probably the most complicated design out of all my characters.

He will eventually be rp'ed at the , and will eventually choose a mark... he has issues to sort out first x3

Unique Traits:
1 - He's a cheetah with (so far) no special powers
2 - He can run very fast... Well, yeah xD

Personality: Friendly, kind, down to earth, fun, up for anything. An all round nice guy. Gets confused when his instincts say one thing and his role in the pride says another. Feels a little lost at times, or as though he doesn't fit in.

Story: When Nio was barely three weeks old, his mother was killed by hyenas as she tried to defend her young cub. Hiding in the grass a few feet away from her body, he waited with his head burried in his paws, instinctively waiting for the trouble to pass and for his mother to return.
Whether it was coincidence or destiny, Mako spotted the scene from a distance. Wanting to know what had gained the hyena's attenion, he went over to investigate. Seeing the dead cheetah he was about to leave them with their kill when he spotted the cubs black tufts of hair from the corner of his eye. Walking over to the young cub he looked down at the defenseless cheetah. Knowing he wouldn't stand a chance on his own, Mako took it upon himself to fend off the hyena's and save the cub. Once he had seen them off, he returned to the small cub, and after a long think, decided he'd adopt the cheetah. Naming the cub Tamanio, he picked it up by its scruff and headed back to the safest place he knew, The Misfit Pride (Awww! x3).

Since then, Nio has been with the pride and was brought up by Mako. Now old enough to be out on his own, and with Mako's new mate, he has to decide whether he will leave the pride to start a normal cheetah life, or whether to stay and find a den of his own.
